How The Inspection Works

Kansas City sees hail and wind damage every storm season, and most of it hides where you cannot see it from the ground. Jose climbs on your roof himself, checks every slope, documents anything he finds with photos, and gives you a written damage report you can use when you file your own insurance claim. If there is no damage, he tells you and he leaves. No cost, no obligation.

Step 3, Adjuster Meeting On Site.

When your adjuster comes out to look at the roof, Jose is there with them. He walks the adjuster through what he documented so nothing gets missed. If your claim is approved, your deductible is typically all you pay for the repair. Coverage depends on your policy.

How do I know if my roof was damaged?

Most hail damage is invisible from the ground. The only way to know for sure is to have a professional inspection. Jose gets on your roof personally and documents any damage with photos so you can see exactly what is going on.

What does the inspection cost?

The inspection is free. If Jose finds damage, you get a written damage report with the photos and a written scope and estimate for the repair. You use the report to file your own claim with your insurance company. There is no cost or obligation to move forward with any repair.

Will insurance cover my roof?

We cannot tell you what your policy covers or what your insurance company will approve. Every policy is different and coverage varies. What we can tell you: hail and wind damage is commonly covered under Kansas and Missouri homeowner policies, storm claims have filing deadlines, and documented damage gives you the strongest position when you file. We give you the documentation. The claim decision is between you and your insurance company.

Do you use subcontractors?

Never. Jose is the owner and he is on every single job site. His crew works directly for him. No middlemen, no strangers showing up at your house.

How long does an inspection take?

About 20 minutes from the time Jose pulls up. If he finds damage, he takes photos of every slope and later sends you a written damage report with a scope and estimate.

Is there a deadline to file a claim?

Yes. Storm claims have filing deadlines, and they vary by insurer and by policy. The longer you wait after a storm, the harder it can be to establish that the damage came from that storm. Getting the inspection done sooner rather than later gives you more time to decide what to do.
